Job description

Job Title: Locum Podiatrist
Band: 6
Location: London
Rate: £24-27 per hour
Working Hours: Full Time
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months initially

We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Podiatrist to join a dynamic team in London. This role involves managing a community caseload, including the possibility of home visits, with a pool car available for use. You will provide high-quality podiatric care in various community settings, working independently and as part of a team to deliver patient-focused treatment. The position is available immediately for an initial 3-month period.

Responsibilities:
As a Locum Podiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of podiatric conditions within the community. You will provide treatments for foot and lower limb disorders, conduct home visits when necessary, and deliver preventative care and education to patients. You will manage your caseload effectively, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to individual patient needs. In addition, you will maintain accurate records and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC Registration as a Podiatrist
  • Previous experience in community podiatry, including home visits
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize care
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving license (for home visits)
