Band 6 Locum General Radiographer
Location: Nottingham
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Working Hours: 3x 09:00 – 17:00 shifts per week
Pay Rate: £25.00 – £26.00

We are seeking a Band 6 Locum General Radiographer to join a well-established radiology department in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled radiographer to contribute to a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality imaging services. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering efficient and accurate diagnostic imaging, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of diagnostic radiographic procedures, including X-rays and general imaging in a hospital setting.
  • Work closely with radiologists, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality images that aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Focus on patient care, quality assurance, and radiation safety protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining imaging equipment and ensuring compliance with clinical governance and departmental policies.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
  • HCPC registration is essential.
  • Previous NHS or private sector experience as a General Radiographer.
  • Proficiency in general X-ray and trauma imaging.
  • Strong understanding of radiation protection guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
