The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Histology to work in a busy lab in Essex. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s cellular histology service. Suitable histology biomedical scientist that can do proficient microtomy.
What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?
Perform histological tests on tissue samples, including processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining, to prepare them for microscopic examination. Ensure all laboratory procedures comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly. Troubleshoot and report any malfunctions.
