Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales is seeking a permanent Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse for Morris Ward. The ward is a 27-bed elderly care unit with frailty beds, focused on safe discharge and multidisciplinary teamwork.

You must be a Registered nurse with at least 2 years' experience at Band 5, and be prepared to precept newly qualified nurses and mentor students while supporting the Senior Sister in managing the ward.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current practitioner registration in the UK.
• Minimum 2 years experience at Band 5.
• Willingness to precept and mentor student nurses.
• Post – Permanent, 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of care.
• Lead a group of staff in the absence of the Ward Sister.
• Provide high standards of care from admission to discharge.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe discharge.
