Job description

The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Immunology/Biochemistry to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Aylesbury. We are seeking a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s service.

Position Details
  • Role: Biomedical Scientist
  • Band: 6
  • Location: Aylesbury
  • Hours: Mon – Fri 08:00-16:30, 09:00-17:30, or 11:30-20:00 (on both sites as per weekly rota). Weekend work may be required in emergencies.
  • Duration: 3 months
Responsibilities

As a Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry, you will be proficient in using analyzers in Biochemistry automation. Additional experience in manual or specialist techniques such as protein electrophoresis or HPLC is advantageous. You will support senior biomedical scientists and guide junior staff daily.
