Position: Band 6 Histology Cellular Pathology Scientist
Location: Worthing & St Richards Hospital
Rate of pay: £24 - £27 per hour

Day Webster are currently recruiting a Band 6 Histology Cellular Pathology Scientist with experience in microtomy sectioning for a Laboratory based in Worthing and St Richard’s Hospital. Our client is looking for the ideal candidate to start as soon as possible for a minimum of 3 months. The shift pattern would be 09:00 – 17:00, although the service would consider other suitable work patterns for the right candidate.

What you need – Role requirements

1. Microtomy sectioning (standard, mega, singles, levels and cores) routine H&E staining (using Leica Spectra).
2. Required to pass our UKAS Competencies within 2 days of working in the lab.
3. Expected to be able to use all of the existing equipment (all supplied by Leica) with the minimum of training.
