Job Title:Gerontology Occupational Therapist
Banding: Band 6
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
Working Hours: 37.5 per week
Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Gerontology Occupational Therapist to work for our fantastic NHS client based in Liverpool, Merseyside. The role is available for a successful Occupational Therapist to start immediately, offering full-time hours per week for a short term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you’ll assess patients’ functional abilities, set personalised rehabilitation goals, and provide expert recommendations for assistive equipment and home modifications. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams during board rounds, carry out home visits, and support discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued care.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Previous experience within Gerontology ward.
  • Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
