Job description

Join one of the region's most dynamic NHS partnerships as a Band 6 Senior Executive Assistant, supporting the Joint Chief Executive across two leading trusts in Bristol. This is a pivotal opportunity for a highly organised, adaptable professional to make an impact at executive level.

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Provide full EA support to the Joint Chief Executive, including diary and inbox management, handling sensitive communications, and managing formal visits.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including the Council of Governors, Non-Executive and Executive Directors.
  3. Support key strategic and operational activities across both organisations through effective planning, organisation, and communication.
  4. Supervise administrative functions and ensure the Joint CEO's office runs smoothly, managing team performance and supporting cross-trust initiatives.
  5. Coordinate and manage high-level projects, collate data and actions from forums and briefings, and ensure timely follow-up.
  6. Liaise with comms, governance, and finance teams on behalf of the Joint CEO.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  1. Substantial senior-level EA/PA experience, ideally supporting an Executive Director in the NHS.
  2. Strong diary management, minute-taking, and organisational skills.
  3. Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities and work independently.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Previous NHS experience and understanding of the local BNSSG healthcare landscape desirable.
  6. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, with advanced IT and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Working Hours & Contract Duration:

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (full-time, 37.5 hours/week)
Rate: £25.00ph
Start Date: ASAP - 4 weeks
Contract Length: 3-6 months ongoing
