Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Early Intervention Care Coordinator (part-time, 30 hours) to join the Central Early Intervention In Psychosis Team on a fixed-term 10-month secondment to cover maternity leave.

You will deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions for First Episode Psychosis, manage a varied caseload, and work closely with Psychology while participating in Duty rota and triage activities.

Qualifications

• Post-registration clinical experience is required.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team is preferred.
• Knowledge of Care Programme Approach and Mental Health Act 1983 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based assessments and interventions for a caseload within the Early Intervention team.
• Support relapse prevention and aim for personal recovery and ordinary living.
• Participate in triage and Duty rota and collaborate with Psychology.

Education

Core professional qualification in nursing, social work or occupational therapy

Evidence of continued professional development

Nurse registrants: completion of preceptorship
