Job description

We are recruiting for a Band 6 Radiographer to work within a hospital based in Preston

Job Title: Band 6 CT Specialist Radiographer

Location: Preston

Working Days: Monday to Friday (with some flexibility required)

Contract: At least 3 months

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and competent Band 6 CT Specialist Radiographer to join our dynamic imaging team. This role requires a dedicated professional with expertise in CT imaging and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The successful candidate must be cannulation trained and have completed all necessary mandatory training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans on Siemens Definition Edge and Go All scanners, and Philips Ingenuity CT scanner.
  • Ensure all imaging procedures are conducted in accordance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and reliability in providing clinical support to the team.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiographic practices, procedures, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Competence and experience in performing CT scans, including cannulation skills.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and mandatory training completed.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to providing the highest standard of care.
  • Flexibility in working hours and a commitment to meeting the needs of the department.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Siemens Definition Edge and Go All, and Philips Ingenuity CT scanners.
