Job summary

A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking a Band 6 CT Radiographer with CT experience for immediate placement in Northern Ireland. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in General Diagnostic Radiography, and qualifications in IV cannulation and CT. Regular weekend and night shifts are required. The role demands availability Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5 pm with possible rotations to various locations.

• Current Radiography HCPC registration.
• Qualification in IV cannulation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans in a busy hospital setting.
• Available Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm, and weekends/shift work as required.

Job description

The NHSCT are looking for 1 Band 6 CT Radiographer with CT experience to start as soon as possible at the CT Department, Antrim Hospital, Northern Trust, Northern Ireland with possible rotation to Whiteabbey Hospital Mobile CT scanner.

They also require 1 Band 6 CT Radiographer with CT experience to start as soon as possible at the CT Department, Causeway Hospital, Northern Trust, Northern Ireland with possible rotation to Whiteabbey, Mid Ulster and Antrim too.

Ideally the candidates should have experience in an acute, busy hospital setting, and have good experience of CT scanning including trauma.

Primarily the candidates will need to be available Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm, but regular weekend working will also be essential once entitled in the Trust. CT night shifts will also be required.

Criteria

• At least 2 years in General Diagnostic Radiography
• Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
• Current Radiography HCPC registration
• Qualification in IV cannulation
• PgCert /Diploma in CT
