NHS seeks a dynamic Contracts and Performance Lead for its Calne office. You will manage major procurement exercises, ensuring compliance with national frameworks, while fostering strong supplier relationships. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Contracts and Procurement Team. This pivotal role will responsible for leading on all major procurement exercises within the Trust.
This will involve the tendering and use of national frameworks within the current Cabinet office guidance and ensuring all tenders are run within a compliant process. The post will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining a Framework and Contracts management process for appropriate expenditure contracts.
The successful candidate will be a critical member of the team and be able to work within a busy corporate office and have the skills and abilities to manage their own workloads.
The team are based across two sites so this role will be required to travel between offices when required. Our team works both remotely and in the office depending on project needs and individual schedules, with regular team meetings across the Trust's geography. This is a challenging and varied post within the team and is a key role ensuring that all processes in place work effectively and efficiently. A confident individual will be required, with an ability to deal with colleagues and build upon established relationships whilst developing new ones by using their own initiative and skills to recognise improvements that could be implemented. The successful candidate will have managed and independently run multiple tenders of varying levels, and will have experience of contract management tools and techniques. The successful individual will have proven IT skills and be confident working under their own initiative.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
