Help us make a difference in the community of Small Heath, Bordesley Green and Heartlands wards!

Our 247 Neighbourhood Mental Health Centre Pilot has been commissioned by NHS England to run Mental Health Services in these areas in a new way. We will have an open door and will support any adults who need our help. The service is compassion based, looking at the whole person and ensuring all aspects of their life are considered.

We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, driven individuals, who understand the needs of people in the area and are driven to make a difference.

This opportunity is qualified nurse or other registered Mental Health professional to join our fantastic team.

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable individuals who can effect positive changes for people experiencing severe and enduring mental health concerns - with excellent assessment and risk management skills - alongside all round Service User centred skills and a genuine desire to work in this area.

You will have experience and confidence in working autonomously in an adult mental health setting and will have skills in engagement, assessment, risk management and care planning. You will be passionate about improving services and bringing about positive change for individuals and the community we serve.

Main duties of the job

You will be involved in all aspects of mental health care, assessment, care and support and treatment

Support and engage people a caseload of people with mental health problems and their families/carers in collaboration with the wider team

Support the team in partnering other agencies in the community.

Ensure social inclusion and active citizenship for people with Serious/Severe Mental Illness (SMI)
