Overview

Band 6 Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) Nurse
Location: Bath
Pay Rate: GBP26.28 per hour
Contract: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (shorter working week may be available)

Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency, is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse (CMHT Nurse) to join a well-established service in Bath. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) seeking a flexible agency role within the NHS or community mental health services.

As a Band 6 CMHT Nurse, you will provide high-quality care, treatment, and recovery-focused support for adults who have been referred for further help following assessment by the Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS), the Intensive Service, or the Mental Health Liaison Team. You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering evidence-based mental health nursing interventions.
  • Managing a caseload of service users within the community.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing personalised care and recovery plans.
  • Providing risk assessments, crisis support, and relapse prevention strategies.
  • Liaising with NHS professionals, social care teams, and voluntary sector organisations.
  • Maintaining high-quality clinical records in line with NMC and NHS standards.
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
  • Previous experience working within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).
  • Strong assessment, care planning, and risk management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
