Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a community mental health team supporting older adults with complex mental health needs. You will manage a varied caseload of clients living in the community, focusing on promoting independence, managing risk, and supporting recovery through personalised occupational interventions.

In this role, you will:

* Conduct functional and environmental assessments in the community

* Develop and deliver individualised care plans in line with recovery-oriented approaches

* Provide occupational therapy interventions to promote daily living skills, engagement, and well-being

* Work collaboratively with CMHT professionals, families, and external services to coordinate care

* Monitor risk and contribute to safeguarding processes as needed

* Maintain comprehensive and timely clinical documentation

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A current and valid HCPC registration

* Experience working within a mental health setting, preferably with older adults

* Knowledge of community-based assessments and interventions

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a flexible, ongoing locum position requiring availability Monday to Friday. There is a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and service needs.
