Job summary

Jarrodean Healthcare Recruitment seeks an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) in Bristol to deliver and oversee complex 24-hour care packages in the community. The role offers a flexible, bank basis with a pay rate of £35–£38 per hour and potential move to substantive part-time or full-time roles with NHS Band 6 pay.

Applications are invited from experienced and motivated Registered General Nurses with a genuine commitment to working in the community with Service Users who have complex Physical care needs to join our client’s specialist service based in Bristol.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping high-quality, person-centred care delivery within the wider Bristol area.
This role is initially offered on a zero hours Bank basis at a pay rate between £35-£38 per hour, but we are happy to consider a substantive part-time or full-time hours role with a salary commensurate with NHS Band 6.

You will work closely with the established senior management, clinical, governance and care coordination teams based in Bristol.
You will ensure the safe delivery and clinical oversight of complex 24 hour care packages within the community undertaken by experience Compex Care Workers.
This role offers a balance of autonomy and support, making it ideal for a Nurse who enjoys community working and wants to contribute to a growing service.

Person requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration
• Experience within complex care and/or community care settings
• Strong clinical skills and confidence working independently
• Experience supporting and supervising care staff
• Good understanding of clinical governance and safe practice
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desireable:

• Experience with tracheostomy, PEG feeding, catheter care, epilepsy management, ventilation or spinal injury care
• Experience working with CHC-funded packages
• Experience within homecare or community complex care services
