Band 6 Children's Rapid Response Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen to expand the Children’s Rapid Response service. This service works in close collaboration with the CCN & Palliative Care team: the team’s aim is to prevent and reduce hospital attendances/admissions and length of stay for children already known to the CCN & Palliative team.

We are looking for experienced children’s nurses that have extensive experience in assessment with children with complex health care needs. Ideally, the suitable candidate would hold, or be willing to work towards obtaining, the independent Non Medical Prescribing qualification / Assessment Course.

You must have the ability to prioritise your workload using advanced assessment skills with the ability to provide a symptom management plan of care to children/young people during times of acute deterioration or illness.
