A mental health service provider in Bristol is seeking passionate individuals for a training role in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for children and young people. Successful candidates will receive fully funded training at the University of Exeter and will work as mental health practitioners in the CAMHS service. Candidates should have a dedication to young people's mental health and an interest in CBT. A permanent position awaits after training, supported by excellent clinical supervision.
We are in the fortunate position of being funded for 3 recruits to train in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Anxiety and Depression for children and young people. The training starts in January 2026 at the University of Exeter. This is a training role to obtain a PGDip/GradDip in Psychological Therapies Practice (Child, Young People and Families) in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. The post-holder will work within the Bristol, North Somerset & South Glos CAMHS service at Avon & Wiltshire Partnership Trust, providing interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role at the University of Exeter.
This intensive training post will equip the post holder to provide interventions based on Psychological Therapies core principles and an evidence based intervention consistent with their training course. The post-holder would be expected to attend and fulfil all the requirements of the course to then be able to work in the organisation at the end of the course.
