Job description

The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Bury St Edmunds. We are seeking a Biomedical Scientist who can make a significant impact in supporting the laboratory’s Microbiology service.

Position Details:

• Role: Biomedical Scientist
• Band: 6
• Location: Bury St Edmunds
• Hours: 37.5 per week
• Duration: Ongoing

Responsibilities:

As a Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology, your duties will include reading cultures, identifying significant pathogens, performing susceptibility testing, supporting senior biomedical scientists, and guiding junior staff.
