Are you a skilled Biomedical Scientist with a passion for blood film morphology? Our client, based in London, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will independently analyse and interpret blood films, identifying and reporting abnormal findings to inform clinical diagnoses. You will ensure the accuracy and quality of results by adhering to standard operating procedures and participating in quality control and assurance programmes. Your role will involve collaborating with haematology consultants and other healthcare professionals to provide expert advice and support. Additionally, you will contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. You will also be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
• BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
• HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
• Significant experience in blood film morphology.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
