Qualifications

• Current HCPC registration is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years NHS experience within Haematology and Blood Transfusion.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, quality standards, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Driving licence preferred due to travel between multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Haematology and Blood Transfusion testing and analysis with high accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with NHS standards, laboratory protocols, and safety regulations.
• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with Biomedical Scientists and multidisciplinary teams to support operations.
• Document, interpret, and report findings for clinical review and patient management.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and service improvement initiatives.
• Support timely and reliable diagnostic services across multiple sites.
