Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experiencedBiomedical Scientistto join our client’s laboratory team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-equipped diagnostic service, where your expertise in haematology and blood transfusion will be highly valued.
The ideal candidate will be fully conversant in haematology and blood transfusion, with specific experience in morphology. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely test results to support effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of haematology and blood transfusion tests, including morphology analysis, in line with laboratory protocols. Your duties will include maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, interpreting complex test results, and keeping accurate records. You will also work closely with clinical teams to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
