Band 6 Biomedical Scientist – Cellular Pathology

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to join the Cellular Pathology team at Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust.

Position: Band 6 Biomedical Scientist – Cellular Pathology
Location: Hinchingbrooke
Duration: 12 weeks, Monday – Friday, 08:30-17:00
Start date: ASAP
Employment Type: Temp
Pay: £29.78

Role Requirements:

Qualifications and Registration:

• AB.Sc. (Hons.) in Biomedical Science or equivalent, accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS).
• Professional registration as a Biomedical Scientist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Experience and Competency:

• Experience working in a cellular pathology laboratory environment.
• Completion of post-registration specialty training, such as the IBMS Specialist Portfolio.
• Current knowledge of biomedical science theory and practice in a cellular pathology setting.
• Experience in clinical or research laboratories at a Band 6 level.
• UK and NHS experience required.
