• Working Days: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 09:00 am – 17:30 pm

Job Description:
The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry to work in a busy hospital in Newham. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory service. This is a temporary contract with a rate of £23 – £34 per hour.

You will be required to process biochemistry samples using c8000 equipment and perform technical validation of test results. You will need to process samples in a timely manner to meet target test result turnaround times.

Essential Requirements:

• HCPC registered
• UK NHS or private sector biochemistry laboratory experience
• Biomedical science qualification
• Extensive experience with: cITM, P612 pre-analytics, Cobas 8000
• Experience with Winpath LIMS, strong understanding of lab quality standards, EQA, and IQC
