Job Description:
The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry to work in a busy hospital in Homerton. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory service. This contract is temporary, with a rate of £24 – £27 per hour.

You will be required to process biochemistry samples using c8000 equipment and perform technical validation of test results. You will need to process samples in a timely manner to meet target test result turnaround times.

Essential Requirements:

• HCPC registered
• UK NHS or private sector biochemistry laboratory experience
• Biomedical science qualification
• Post-registration experience of at least 2 years
• Proficiency in Winpath, Roche Pro analyser, and p612
