Hours: 08:30 am – 5:00 pm

Duration: Ongoing

Rate: £24.00 – £30.00 P/H

The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is recruiting a Band 6/5/4 Biomedical Scientist in Histology to work in a busy Hospital inOrpington. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s cellular histology service.

What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?

As a Biomedical Scientist in Histology, you will be expected to be proficient in microtomy and able to cut over 30 blocks an hour to a high standard: alongside having experience in embedding and staining. On a day-to-day basis, you will be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and guiding junior members of staff.

Essential Requirements for this Biomedical Scientist position:

• HCPC registered
• UK NHS or private sector Histology laboratory experience
• Relevant qualification in Biomedical Science (e.g., BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent)
