Rate: £23.00 – £26.00 P/H

The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in haematology to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Leeds. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s service. This will be a temporary contract with a rate of £23.00 – £26.00 per hour.

What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?

As a Biomedical Scientist in haematology and blood transfusion, you will be expected to have excellent experience in using analysers for full blood counts (FBC) and for coagulation. Having experience in blood film morphology would be preferential but not essential. You will be experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting the analysers alongside your usual duty in loading and operation.

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC registered
  • Microtomy experience
  • UK NHS or private sector Haematology laboratory experience
  • Advia 2120 and Werfen TOP experience
