What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist and play a crucial role in supporting patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will:

* Carry out comprehensive assessments for patients with acute medical and respiratory conditions

* Develop and implement tailored care plans to support discharge planning and functional recovery

* Deliver evidence-based interventions in collaboration with the wider MDT

* Contribute to safe, timely patient flow and continuity of care

* Maintain accurate, professional clinical documentation

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

* A current and valid HCPC registration

* Previous experience working in an acute hospital setting, ideally within medical or respiratory wards

* Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

* The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

* A proactive and patient-focused approach to care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This flexible locum position requires availability Monday to Friday. The role is ongoing, with strong potential for extension based on service requirements and performance.
