Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months NHS experience within the UK required.
  • Full NMC registration and Enhanced DBS needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide community-based nursing care for NHS Trust patients.
  • Respond to patient referrals within 2 hours as part of a team.

Job title: Band 6- Community Nurse Urgent Care

Location: Margate / Deal, Kent

Hours: Part time/ Full time / Ad-hoc

Shift hours: 0800-2100; 1300-2100; 1300-1700; 1300-2100; 1700-2300 – seven days a week

Rates: £25.00 per hour Day Rate
£30.00 Saturday
£35.00 Sunday

To be considered for this role you need a minimum of 6 months NHS experience within the UK.

Job description:

Athona’s Nursing division is currently recruiting for Community agency nurses, with an opportunity based in Margate, Deal, and surrounding areas. This is community-based shift work for an NHS Trust. You will need to be a car driver and have access.

  2. Catheter care
  3. Palliative care

  5. Medication administration
  6. Insulin administration/management
  7. Advanced clinical assessment skills
  8. Experience in acute and ED departments
