Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will independently manage a diverse paediatric caseload, providing tailored therapy to children with various speech, language, and communication needs. You will run Social Skills Groups (SSG) and deliver Teletherapy (TT) sessions, ensuring high-quality care. Your role will involve conducting detailed assessments, developing personalised treatment plans, and collaborating closely with families, schools, and other healthcare professionals. Additionally, you will carry out EHCP assessments, write comprehensive reports, and contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Relevant qualifications in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Minimum of 3 years postgraduate paediatric experience.
• Experience in running Social Skills Groups (SSG).
• Ability to deliver Teletherapy (TT) sessions.
• Experience delivering therapy in clinic settings.
• Competent in carrying out EHCP assessments and report writing.
• Exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to work independently.
