Are you a compassionate Occupational Therapist seeking a new opportunity to develop your skills?

Pulse is currently looking for a Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist to join our well-established client’s NHS team based in Camberley, Surrey. This full-time role is available to start as soon as possible, with an initial duration of 3 months.

We are in search of an enthusiastic and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide expert advice and support to prescribers, commissioners, operational staff, and the community. You will utilise your specialist knowledge to ensure best practice within the community equipment service and help develop and implement innovative solutions. As a Clinical Advisor/Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with the senior management team, referrers, suppliers, and store teams to deliver a person-centred service, ensuring individuals receive the right equipment to meet their needs in a timely manner.

The key responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist include:

Enabling individuals with physical disabilities to achieve maximum independence and safety. Providing advice, arranging equipment, or recommending home alterations; ensuring safe and competent use of such equipment. Assisting individuals in making the most of their abilities and working with them to find solutions to problems that limit their independence. Working as part of an early intervention team to prevent secondary referrals to hospital services. Finding easier and safer ways for managing everyday activities, such as washing, dressing, household tasks, and other activities. Offering assessments of carers’ or parents’ needs and providing appropriate advice as required. Being professionally and legally responsible for all aspects of your own work, including patient management and other professional activities

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A relevant degree qualification in Occupational Therapy
    • HCPC registration
    • A full driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle
