Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Radiographer with a valid mammography qualification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in breast screening.
• Full driving licence preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality breast screening mammography across multiple locations on a rotational basis.
• Take responsibility for mammography services while working independently or with an Assistant Practitioner.
• Conduct and oversee QA tasks to maintain imaging standards.
• Maintain professional demeanor and accountability for all tasks undertaken.
• Ensure consistent and reliable attendance.
• Provide essential breast screening services without assessment work.
• Confidently handle and process QA tasks.
• Adjust schedules per rotational coverage, following best practices.
• Interact with patients to provide supportive care during procedures.
