An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6/7 Locum Dietitian to join our team at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. We are looking for a dedicated professional to provide dietetic services within the renal specialty, covering a broad spectrum from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) to General Nephrology and Home Therapies. This role is ideal for a dietitian with a minimum of one year NHS experience, seeking to expand their expertise in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied renal caseload, providing dietetic assessment, intervention, and education to patients with CKD, those undergoing general nephrology treatments, and home therapies. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a high standard of care, participate in ward rounds, and contribute to the development of nutritional care plans. Training will be provided for essential needs, including iPortal, Careflow, IT training, ward induction, referral & triaging support, and team introductions.
