Job Description:

The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is recruiting a Band 6-7 Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology to work in the West Midlands. We seek a biomedical scientist committed to supporting the laboratory’s service.

Position: Biomedical Scientist
Banding: 6-7
Location: West Midlands
Hours: Full-time (9:00 to 17:30)
Duration: 3 months/ Ongoing

Responsibilities: As a Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology, you should be proficient in microtomy, capable of cutting over 30 blocks per hour to a high standard, with experience in embedding and staining. Daily tasks include supporting senior biomedical scientists and guiding junior staff.

Essential Requirements:

• HCPC registration
• Microtomy experience
• UK NHS or private lab experience
