Job Description:

The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is recruiting a Band 6-7 Biomedical Scientist in Haematology/Transfusion to work in Manchester. We seek a biomedical scientist capable of supporting the laboratory’s service effectively.

  • Position: Biomedical Scientist
  • Banding: 6/7
  • Location: Manchester
  • Hours: Full-time (9:00 to 17:30)
  • Duration: 3 months/Ongoing
Responsibilities:

As a Biomedical Scientist in haematology and blood transfusion, you should have experience with analysers for full blood counts (FBC) and coagulation, including maintenance and troubleshooting. You will also ensure correct blood typing for recipients.
