Band 6/5 Biomedical Science – Microbiology

The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry to work at Tooting. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s service.

Position: Biomedical Scientist

Banding: 5/6

Location: Tooting

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 to 17:30 pm (37.5 hours per week)

Start Date: 01/07/2024

End Date: 30/09/2024

What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?

As a Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry, you will be expected to be proficient in using analyzers in Biochemistry automation. If you have additional experience in more manual or specialist techniques such as protein electrophoresis or HPLC that would be a plus.

On a day-to-day basis you will be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and providing guidance to junior members of staff.

Essential Requirements for this Biomedical Scientist position:

• HCPC registered
• UK NHS or private sector Biochemistry laboratory experience
• Must have experience with bacteriology
