Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting Band 5 Theatre Practitioners to join our theatre teams at QMC and City campuses. We seek motivated, innovative individuals committed to developing themselves, their teams, and evolving services.

You will join a proactive team of nurses and ODPs delivering high standards of perioperative care, with opportunities to demonstrate critical thinking, initiative and teamwork.

Competenze

• Band 5 Theatre Practitioner role in NUH Theatre teams.
• Experience in anaesthetic and surgical scrub support preferred.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our theatres to recruit Band 5 Theatre Practitioners to join our fantastic theatre teams at our QMC and City campuses. We are looking for highly motivated, innovative, and progressive individuals committed to the development of yourself, your team, and our changing services.

You will be joining a pro-active, dynamic team of nurses and ODPs who offer the best standards of perioperative care. Every day is challenging but rewarding with opportunities to demonstrate critical thinking, initiative, and teamwork. We pride ourselves on quality team work, learning, and being forward thinking.

There is an expectation that you will be prepared to support colleagues in other specialities to provide safe patient care and prevent patient cancellations.

Please note, that due to ongoing service developments the post holder may be required cross site at our other hospital site (QMC) with the agreement of the Speciality Team Leader.

Expectations to deliver a high standard of service with patient safety and quality are a priority. You should be able to demonstrate effective team working and work to the highest standards of evidence based practice.

We practice multi-skilling and are looking to recruit dynamic practitioners who wish to develop their practice in anaesthetic and surgical scrub support. Theatre experience is preferable but not essential.

A flexible attitude to work and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team is essential.
