Job summary
The role of the Compliance Support Officer is to assist the Estates management team in ensuring Trust's electrical/mechanical equipment is maintained to statutory and mandatory standards which will ensure a well maintained safe and secure environment for our patients, staff and visitors. Co-ordinate workplan, log action plans, and source and retrieve data.
Main duties of the jobo Update and collate information for the workplan, co-ordinate meetings, complete actions, source data and contribute to PAM data collectiono Assist in the supervision of the Planet FM System and any other system which may be used to control and/or monitor the performance of staffo Assist in the preparation and execution of contract, up-grading and alteration work as required o Participate in the formulation of annual programmes, works budgets, operational and strategic policieso Assist in the operation of policies and procedures in respect of permit-to-work systems, hazard notices, health and safety and other statutory responsibilitieso Assist in the preparation and implement minor schemes of maintenance renewal and replacement, and for works of a minor improvement nature as and when requiredo Assist in the contribution of energy records, plant inventories, insurance schedules, drawing registers etc.o Assist in the inspection and testing of engineering services, plant and equipment to conform with statutory legislation, carrying out detailed analysis as requiredo Assist in surveys and inspections and prepare drawings and specifications as requiredo Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations in terms of Health and Safety, COSHH etc.o Attend meetings as requestedo Maintain good and accurate records as requiredo Any other duties commensurate with the grade.
