Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is offering a tailored 18-month nurse rotation programme to help you transition from student to qualified nurse. You will work in various clinical settings, participate in study days, and receive guidance from experienced professionals. This programme aims to enhance your skills and career aspirations.
This rotation programme will be tailored to your individual needs, providing support throughout the 18-month duration, with a guaranteed job at the end. Educators will be available on each ward to support you, and you will join the preceptorship programme to assist your transition from student to qualified nurse.
You will have the opportunity to work in cardiology, surgical and/or respiratory wards, transplant units, and critical care settings.
You’ll Attend Eight Specialist Study Days, Including:
Part of each study day will include well-being and reflective group sessions led by the hospital’s psychologists. These sessions aim to promote a healthy work/life balance and ensure our nurses are well cared for. Further 1:1 sessions with psychologists will also be encouraged.
You’ll gain valuable experience across various clinical settings, with the goal of helping you develop your skills to reach your full potential and career aspirations. We welcome applications from final-year students, newly qualified nurses, or nurses in the early stages of their careers.
