A healthcare consultancy is seeking Registered Nurses to join their Older Adult Mental Health service in Guernsey. This role involves caring for older patients with complex behaviours in a dedicated ward. Candidates should have one year of UK experience in mental health and a passion for person-centred care. The Unit is a 15-bedded ward dedicated to care for patients with behaviours that challenge. This opportunity is open to Mental Health or General/Adult Nurses.
Please note: Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system but has applied its own salary scale.
The current Band 5 salary range is £38,744 to £49,970, plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/Public Holiday.
Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days, with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.

This unique integrated health service provides a diverse range of healthcare services within the hospital and supports the wider community.
The Older Adult Mental Health Service includes four in-patient centres, from assessment wards to later-stage dementia care, as well as Community Day Services.
They have recently launched an Island-wide Dementia Framework to make the island Dementia Friendly, ensuring older residents are valued and treated with dignity and respect.
All of this relies on recruiting nurses of excellent calibre to a very high standard.
