Job Description:

Pulse has recently partnered with one of the UK’s leading providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to support the clinical leadership of the service. This position is based in London, accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with children and young people with complex needs and disabilities, aged between 3 and 19 years.

Main responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment/intervention programs for service users, adhering to professional standards and trust policies.
  • Develop appropriate intervention plans and deliver timely therapy.
  • Provide therapy care plans for Speech and Language Therapy assistants and other support staff, maintaining overall responsibility for clients.
  • Offer feedback, guidance, and training to parents, carers, and multidisciplinary team members regarding speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Maintain professional development through CPD activities such as training, courses, conferences, and research.
  • Comply with trust policies, legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Coordinate and deliver services in designated schools with support from clinical supervisors and service managers.

Qualifications and registration:

  • A recognized degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
  • Registration with the HCPC.
