A community health provider in Leicester is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join their Specialist Autism Team. This role involves working with Autistic patients in various community settings and requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and a full UK Driving License. This position offers flexible and hybrid working options and opportunities for professional development.
Are you a newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist or an experienced Speech Therapist looking for a new challenge? We have the exciting opportunity for Band 5 speech and language therapist to join our Specialist Autism Team. You will be working across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland as part of a wide-ranging MDT, supporting a huge variety of Autistic patients with communication difficulties. You will be working in homes and other community settings with carers, families and the individuals themselves to ensure that everyone is included in the planning and delivery of care. Please note that a full UK Driving License and access to a car during working hours is required for this role. You will find us a supportive team, with lots of supervision, CPD opportunities and the chance to develop special interests. We have fun too, with regular health and wellbeing activities that we would love you to be a part of. You will be supported to complete your RCSLT Newly Qualified Practitioner Competencies.
