The Ideal Candidate

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • Essential: RGN and/or RSCN with child and/or learning disability experience
  • Experience of working with children with additional needs
  • Good working knowledge of Child Protection policy & procedures
  • Clear understanding of community health services
  • Effective communication skills
  • Clear, concise written & oral communication
  • Ability to work autonomously & prioritize own work effectively

Desirable:

  • School nurse degree or diploma
  • Experience of working with children with complex health needs
  • Previous experience in a special school setting
  • Experience of initiating & participating in clinical audits
Other requirements:
  • Full UK Driving Licence with a car insured for business use.
