Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust invites applications for a Band 5 CMHT Clinician position in Sarum CMHT. Band 5 CMHT Clinician - Non-Psychotic Pathway
Are you interested in holistic mental health care , keen to work in a community setting and eager to work as part of an Multi professional team? If you can answer yes to these questions then we want you to apply for one of our band 5 posts in Sarum CMHT.
We have redesigned the model of care based on identified pathways and we are looking for clinicians who are skilled or have an interest in training to deliver interventions to service users in the non-psychotic pathway.
We have initiated a training programme of structured clinical management which is evidence based approach for individuals with complex emotional needs who are on a non-psychotic pathway and this training would be available to new staff.
If you are up for the challenge this is an exciting opportunity for clinicians to work in a focused way developing skills for an identified group of individuals.
In addition to this you would also be working with a other groups of people with diagnosis ranging from depression, anxiety and bipolar.
Main duties will include:
Coordination care for SU on the no psychotic pathway
Care planning
Risk assessment
Structured Clinical Management
Group work
Attending Supervision
This post is open to newly qualified social workers. In line with AWP trust policy all newly qualified social workers (NQSW) will be recruited initially at Band 5 level, regardless of advertised role banding. All NQSW’s are expected to successfully complete their ASYE within 2 years of employment, unless there are exceptional circumstances in which case it may be extended for a further 2 years.
If you have been appointed to an advertised Band 6 role this will be an automatic progression, following confirmation of your successful ASYE completion. If you have been appointed to a Band 5 post you will then be eligible to apply for a subsequent Band 6 vacancy upon successful ASYE completion.
