Job Overview

Are you looking for a new and exciting position to support patient pathways and clinical excellence? We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and forward-thinking Specialist Dental Nurse to join the Birmingham Community Dental Nursing team. The team carries out a variety of dental treatments under local anaesthetic, conscious sedation, and general anaesthesia.

  • Position: Band 5 Special Care Specialist Dental Nurse
  • Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday
  • Duration: 12 months fixed-term
  • Location: Birmingham
Qualifications and Experience
  • Dental Nursing Qualification
  • Post Qualification in Conscious Sedation IV/IHS
  • GDC Registration

Essential experience includes supporting a wide range of dental procedures, supporting undergraduates and post-registration staff, and supporting clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
