Band 5 Registered Nurse - Whipps Cross Hospital - Barts Health NHS Trust

Pulse Nursing are currently seeking Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our team to work for Barts Health NHS Trust. Barts Health NHS Trust has a high volume of shifts available, and as a Pulse healthcare professional you get priority access to the best shifts. This opportunity offers flexibility to book in advance so you can plan ahead and have control of your schedule. We offer a variety of shift patterns, including full-time equivalent hours, with pay between £18.80 - £29.83 per hour.

As a Band 5 Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high standards of care to patients across medical and surgical wards. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, using your clinical skills and compassion to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that care plans are tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in line with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Monitor patients' conditions, perform clinical observations, and respond to any changes appropriately.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team to ensure coordinated and compassionate care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and ongoing professional development.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment that enhances patient recovery and wellbeing.
