Main Duties/Responsibilities

As a Band 5 Registered Nurse at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, you will:

• Provide monitoring and care for seriously ill or unstable patients
• Support emergency admissions, planned admissions, and post-surgery patients and their families, communicating effectively
• Prepare and check equipment for operating lists
• Adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct
• Take blood, insert cannulas, and perform patient observations
• Write care plans, perform assessments, and make referrals
• Organise admissions and discharges

Qualifications and Certifications

Essential:

• Registered Nurse qualification
• At least 2 years post-graduate experience
• Recent NHS experience within last 3 years (minimum 6 months)
• Pass an enhanced background check
