A healthcare trust in Wakefield is seeking a dedicated Band 5 Registered Nurse to join their acute surgical team. This role requires previous experience in an acute setting and a commitment to delivering high standards of patient care. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a passion for nursing, and be eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.
Gate 33 is looking for a dedicated, highly organised band 5 registered nurse with post registration experience in acute surgery to join the team. If you are ready for a challenge and are keen to develop your skills this could be the role for you. Gate 33 is a busy 44 bedded general and colorectal surgical ward, offering a wide variety of care to a wide range of patients. Nurses on gate 33 have many extended skills, caring for; PCA/PCEA, CVAD, TPN, NG. NJ and PEG feeding, amongst other skills.Gate 33 is very fast paced. Are you highly organised. quick thinking and resourceful, able to deal with stress and be committed to delivering excellent standards of care? If you have excellent communication skills, plenty of enthusiasm and motivation you will be a welcome addition to our friendly and experienced nursing team.
The primary aim of the role is to provide effective patient centred care by performing individual assessment of care needs, developing, implementing and evaluating programmes of care that meet the needs of the patient and their families/carers. The role is multidimensional and requires the post holder to integrate and fulfil all the dimensions of patient care.Help promote and maintain an environment conducive to meeting the needs of the patient/relatives and carers.Advocate for patients and their relatives.Undertake any training required.
