Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) - A&E Setting

Banding: Band 5

Location: Ilford

Rate: £17.25 - £23.75 per hour

Pulse Nursing is seeking compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Nurses to join our client in Ilford. If you're passionate about supporting individuals with mental health needs within an A&E setting and are looking to make a real difference, this is the opportunity for you. As a RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) you will provide high-quality, person-centered care to individuals, promoting their recovery and supporting their mental health needs. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver care in a variety of settings, helping patients to manage their conditions and live more fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of mental health patients
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families
  • Administer medications, monitor symptoms, and provide therapeutic interventions
  • Support patients with managing their mental health, preventing relapse, and promoting recovery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, and healthcare professionals
  • Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to patients in times of need
  • Ensure the delivery of care in line with mental health legislation, safeguarding procedures, and professional standards
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC pin
  • Previous experience in mental health nursing
  • A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
