Job summary

The Isle of Wight NHS Trust is seeking a bank registered general nurse to assess patients, monitor vital signs and administer medications across hospital and community settings on the Isle of Wight. Responsibilities include wound care, post-surgical recovery support, health education for patients and families, and working within multidisciplinary teams to update care plans.

NMC registration and at least six months NHS experience required.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in adult nursing is required.

Job description

A bank registered general nurse post with the Isle of Wight NHS Trust, which runs physical health, mental health and ambulance services across the island. The work centres on assessing patients, monitoring vital signs, giving medicines and managing wounds and recovery after surgery, alongside health education and support for patients and their families. The trust is the only fully integrated acute, community, mental health and ambulance provider in England. At least six months of recent NHS nursing experience and NMC registration decide fit.
